I justified a burger and fries after working hard all day without a meal. While awaiting my order, I peered into the window of a fried chicken establishment next door and could hardly believe my eyes! The windows were plastered with some of the most awful signage I have ever seen. Adding insult to injury, the burger stand borrowed the marking pen for some specials of its own.
The gnawing in my stomach drowned the mumbling from my bewilderment why any owner would dare to mar his company image with such atrocities. It's times like this that I realize why I am in business. But alas, hunger got the best of me. Impatient for my burger, I walked in and order a single chicken breast - something not advertised on the windows.
