Giclee (pronounced zhgee-clay) is a word coined more than a decade ago to describe high quality inkjet reproduction of fine art and photos. Using proper ink printed on archival papers, well framed and stored giclee prints can last for centuries according to extrapolated lighting conditions by Wilhelm Imaging Research.
Q : Can posters be hanged outdoors?
Durable water-resistant Polypro and Presure Sensitive Fabric can retain vibrance up to 8 months outdoors depending upon weather conditions. PSA Outdoor Vinyl is guaranteed up to 1 year. Laminated indoor retail signage can endure 2 years or more when exposed to indirect sunlight without fading.
For banners subjected to more severe weather conditions such as high winds and surface abuse, laminated Polypro or heavyweight reinforced scrim material is offered.
