Some adhesive-back or static-cling products have excellent repositionable properties. If you have ever attempted to remove tape from a window or a decal from an automobile bumper you have an enhanced appreciation for the phrase indefinitely repositionable. Lifting from a smooth, clean surface is easy; it remains so even a year or more later because the bonding adhesive does not cure as fast as permanent adhesive. It does not mean the banner is designed to be repeatedly adhered and removed dozens of times. Nor does it imply an edge of the banner can be pulled at a sharp angle in relation to the affixed surface (as if peeling a banana) without surface damage. These actions can breakdown the media's ink absorption layer or degrade substrate fibers.
