Mounting is offered on black 1/4-inch JetMountboard because it is lightweight yet strong so is ideal for trade show displays while saving money on shipping.
For conservation of archival acid-free art papers white 3/16-inch acid-free foamboard is available. Because it is 25 percent thinner than JetMount, it is sometimes selected to minimize bulk for many boards. To prevent warping, mounting or lamination is required on both sides.
